This website has no reader accounts, advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. Your appearance preference is stored in your browser. Search runs in your browser using an index downloaded from this site.

Article views

Views are approximate browser visits, not unique people. A random anonymous token is stored on your device. The same article can count at most once per browser during a rolling 24 hours, including refreshes and other tabs. A different browser or device may count separately; clearing browser storage may allow another count.

The counter stores totals and a one-way digest specific to each article, never the raw browser token, IP address, email or user-agent. Old deduplication records are removed in small batches as new views arrive; totals remain. We do not use fingerprinting or third-party analytics. If storage or the counter is unavailable, the article still works and its count is hidden.

Hosting and links

The hosting provider may process connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. External links and WhatsApp sharing lead to other services with their own privacy policies. Sharing happens only when you choose it.

Previously published work

Removing an article takes it off the current website. It cannot retract copies already downloaded, cached or shared.
